4. How to use and application steps

Step 1: Surface Preparation

The construction surface must be flat, firm, and completely cleaned of dirt and grease. For outdoor surfaces that are sunny or absorb a lot of water, it is necessary to water to lightly moisten but not stagnate.

Step 2: Glue Ratio & Mixing

Mix at the rate of about 5.5 - 6.5 liters of clean water for 1 bag of 25kg. Slowly pour HPM Tilebond C2 glue into the water, mix well with a hand mixer (400 - 500 rpm) for 3–5 minutes. Let the glue rest for 3-5 minutes for the additive to take effect and then mix again before use.

Step 3: Apply Tiling

Use the surface of a serrated trowel to apply a thin layer of glue to the surface, then use the serrated face to pull it at an angle to create an even groove. For large format tiles or exterior cladding, it is recommended to add a thin layer of glue to cover the back of the tile. Press firmly and tap lightly with a rubber hammer.

Step 4: Finishing & Grouting

Clean the grout and tile surface immediately after cladding. Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before grouting and putting it into use.
